Required Dress Code

In order to bring the National Breeders Cup Championship Show closer to traditional show ring standards, the following dress code recommendations have been adopted for Model and Performance classes, for both Breeders Cup and Non-Breeders Cup classes.

Male exhibitor: Western hat, western boots, western suit or sport coat and/or long sleeved shirt and slacks/cotton twill pants or tastefully colored jeans, and ties are required. (The exhibitor shall be excused if not in compliance.) No blue jeans.

Female exhibitor: Western boots, two-piece suit or jacket, and/or long sleeved blouse with slacks/cotton twill pants or tastefully colored jeans are required. No transparent bodice material. Hats are optional, but must be western style only, unless otherwise specified for versatility. Hair shall be styled tastefully. No blue jeans. (The exhibitor shall be excused if not in compliance.)

Youth exhibitors: Same guidelines as adults.
