ELECTION OF OFFICERS

The Annual Membership Meeting to elect Officers and Directors will be held in conjunction with the National Breeders Cup Championship Show. Voting shall be in person.

NAB Members

Only one vote per current NAB family membership, must be 18 years of age or older. Officers will serve as Directors, plus twelve (12) other elected Directors. The president, vice president, secretary and treasurer will serve two year terms. The twelve directors will serve three (3) year terms. Four directors will be elected each year.

Officer & Director Term Specifications

There is no limit on terms. At meetings, the president will vote only in case of a tie. A quorum will be eight (8) directors plus the president. The Board of Directors can fill any vacancy, by majority vote, until the next annual election of Officers and Directors. A position is considered vacant upon the absence of three consecutive scheduled monthly meetings or a total of six meetings during a one-year term. The outgoing President may attend all meetings as a non-voting advisory member for one year.
