The 2014 show season was an extremely successful one for 'Lady Antebellum' (known as 'Lady A') and her owners Kent and Jan Hyde. Kent directed 'Lady A' to a Three Year Old Amateur Championship win at the 2014 National Breeders Championship annual show.
'Lady A' was raised by her owners, Kent and Jan Hyde of Hyde Ranch. It is safe to say this mares talent came by no surprise as she is the product of breeding champion mare, 'Patriots Red Ruby' (Outlaw's Patriot x Lady's Red Ruby J.) to NAB nominated stallion, 'Grand Central.'
'Lady A' was "started by Tom Williams, winter 2013" says Hyde, Williams continued the mares training throughout the 2014 show season. When asking Hyde what the most important part of showing his horse is, he was quick to respond with "Tom Williams and Danielle Anthony," adding that the favorite thing about 'Lady A' is that "she's easy to ride."
Being longtime supporters of NAB, Hyde says that he has "always enjoyed showing at the NBC and had a horse in one of the first Two Year Old Breeders Cups. The added enjoyment this past year was the support of the crowd in the arena."
Congratulations again to 'Lady Antebellum' and her owners Kent and Jan Hyde on their 2014 NBC Three Year Old Amateur Championship win, we look forward to seeing this team compete again in 2015!
