NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BREEDERS
MINUTES OF MEETING
June 22, 2010

The meeting was called to order by Larry Kilroy. Those present were Angelia Owens, Lorraine Bradley, Paul Phillips, Geno Middleton, Steve Wood, Steve Kenney, Shawn Marhefka, Jenalee Stevens, Gene Donley, and Terry Thomas. Those absent were Ted Nichols, Julie Alford, Mitzi Nichols, Danny Cantrell, Danielle Roberts, and Vic Rowden.

Upon motion by Gene Donley, seconded by Paul Phillips, the minutes of the meeting held on May 25, 2010 were approved by a unanimous vote.

Lorraine presented the treasurer's report and it was accepted by acclamation.

Upon motion by Angelia Owens, seconded by Geno Middleton, it was approved by a unanimous vote to pay the Director's and Officer's liability insurance in the amount of $1,226.00.

Upon motion by Jenalee Stevens, seconded by Gene Donley, it was approved by a unanimous vote to pay the liability insurance for the show in the amount of $639.00.

The music for the show was discussed. Geno volunteered to talk to Splinter about getting a sound technician to work at the show.

Hiring a photographer for the show was discussed at length. It was decided that Chris Bryant would be the logical choice due to her involvement with the showcase catalog. Angelia is to talk to Chris and see if she is available the week of the show.

Dates were discussed for the awards banquet. It was decided that October 23rd or November 6th would be the best time.

All show committees gave an update on their progress.

Stallions of the month are: Top Secret and Jester's Charming Legend.
