Move over Quarter horses, here we come! Well, it may take a
while, but what a fine exhibition for our breed's versatility. We
had approximately 10 entries in this first-ever event with great
enjoyment and response from the audience. Much talk was heard
after the show about getting horses ready for next year. We had
several families come from out of state just to see how our
horses performed in the barrel racing class. To the delight of
everyone...the Missouri Fox Trotter once again showed us the
stamina and willingness to perform that the breed is known for.
We would like to say a special thanks to each participant and
we are looking forward to seeing you next year.

Hey, now wait just a minute...Who in the world is that!!! Is
that, no it can't be...
Two professional Trainers turned professional Clowns!
 |
Friday night's crowd was entertained
by two clowns riding around the barrels at a snails pace
during the barrel race. Thanks guys, you gave us laughter
and showed us even professionals like to have fun. Hope
to see the Farkus brothers next year for an encore
performance. Just who are the Farkus brothers? All I
know is that their names are: Willie Ray and Beamus.

Warm-up for this class was as much fun to watch as the class
itself. The following pictures were taken by a novice camera
buff. Thanks for sharing them with us.
