Sadly, we have been notified that King Basil R. passed away on December 31, 2022. Our condolences to Brad Matlock and all the fans of King Basil R. As a nominated stallion, all mares bred for the fall 2022 breeding season will produce NBC eligible foals. King Basil R was NAB nominated from 2018-2023, making his foals born in 2019-2024 NBC eligible. We look forward to watching his legacy continue in the show ring.
